Jammu/April,28: The Cabinet accorded sanction to the creation of 20 posts of different categories for Food Safety Appellate Tribunal (FSAT) Srinagar and Jammu involving tentative financial implication Rs 70 lakh per annum.
The tribunals shall facilitate proper implementation of “Food Safety and Standard Act 2006” in the state and shall hear appeal from the decisions of the adjudicating officers under Section 68 of the Act.
