Udhampur/April,28: Two day Inter School Tournament for Boys Under-14 and Under-17 years in the disciplines of Kabaddi, Volley Ball ,Kho – Kho and Wrestling commenced here Friday at Mini Stadium.
Around 230 Boys from 22 institutions of zone Udhampur participated in the tournament under 14 yr Boys category.
The tournament is being organized under the supervision of Zonal Physical Education Officer Udhampur, Santosh Kumari and overall guidance of DYSSO Udhampur.
In the final match of Volley Ball U/14 BOYS, High School Malhar defeated Middle School Garhi by 11 points, while in the semifinal matches of Kabaddi U/14 Yrs Boys, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir defeated City High School Boys Udhampur by 5 points and Middle School Badali Rakh defeated Happy Model Hr Sec School Udhampur by 18 points. In the final match of Kabaddi under-14, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir defeated Middle School Badali Rakh by 2 points.
Similarly, in the semifinal matches of Kho – Kho U/14 Yrs Boys, Little Flower Convent defeated City High School Boys by 12 points and High School Malhar beat Middle School Badali Rakh by 9 points. The final match was won by Little Flower Convent School Udhampur by defeating City High School Boys by 3 points.
Among others, ZEPO Panchari Pawan Kumar, Parminder manhas, Sanjay Gupta, Pushpinder Kour, Jaswinder Singh & Anku Gupta were present on the occasion.
