Jammu/April,27: As a part of celebrations on account of Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti, the Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha Jammu taken out an impressive Shoba Yatra on different routes of Jammu city.
The yatra comprising hundreds of devotees of Bhagwan Parshuram and people from different walks of life including school children participated. The devotees were chanting slogans in favour of Parshuramji and singing religious sermons. The artists were attired in traditional dress depicting as Parshuramji which delighted the devotees.
Sh Ganga Dhar Shastri Ji a renowned saint along with followers with the Jhanky of Sh Sidheshwar, Sh Dawarka Nath Shastri Ji Maharaj followed by sizable number of followers was also part of Shoba Yatra.
The Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Prakash Ganga also participated in the Yatra. He greeted the people on the auspicious occasion and called upon the people to follow the teachings of Bhagwan Parshuramji. He said this great reformer taught peace, mutual brotherhood, tolerance, equality and serving the mankind.
Member Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma, MLAs, Satpaul Sharma, Rajesh Gupta, Choudhary Sukhnandan, MLC, Vikram Randhawa, Ex Minister, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma, besides Presidents Arora Sabha, Amar Kshatriya Sabha, Mahajan Sabha, Aggarwal Sabha, Ravi Das Sabha also participated in the Yatra.
