Deputations meet CM, seek redressal of their demands

Jammu/April, 27: Several deputations Thursday called on the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here Thursday.
The deputations brought several issues confronting them into the notice of the Chief Minister and sought their redressal.
A deputation of employees of Jammu Women Cooperative Credit Corporation sought rationalization of their services by the Cooperative Department. Another deputation of Civil Safai Karamchari Union sought reorganization of their cadre in JMC.
A deputation of Kashmiri Pandits from Jagti led by  Ramesh Koul sought digitization of the records of migrants at Relief Organization. They also sought equipping the hospital at Jagti with medicine and staff and upgradation of road from Kandoli more to Jagti.
A deputation of retired officials of Police Department sought removal of anomaly in their pays and pensions. A deputation from Kot Balwal demanded construction of a tube well for the local orphanage in view of the shortage of water there.
Another deputation of Hotel and Restaurant Owners of Patnitop demanded early start of work on the ropeway and circular road. They also sought regulated supply of water and power to the area besides upgradation of Sanasar road. A deputation of women of backward areas demanded rationalization of time gap after which certificates of domicile after marriage are issued in their favour.
The Chief Minister listened to the demands patiently and assured the deputations that their demands would be examined and processed within the parameters of law.
Power shutdown in Srinagar parts
Srinagar/April,27: Superintending Engineer, EM&RE Circle II Srinagar, Thursday said the areas which receive power supply from the receiving station Rajbagh will remain affected on April 29 and May 1 from 10:30 am to 4. 30 pm.
He said the power supply will remain affected in order to execute the works related to the ongoing RAPDRP-B scheme.
