Srinagar/ April,23: Thousands of people on Sunday attended the funeral prayers of slain militant Younis Maqbool Ganie who was killed in a gunfight with government forces in Hayatpora village of central Kashmir’s Budgam district last Saturday(yesterday).
Ganie, a resident of Patrigam village located six kilometres from Chadoora area, had recently joined the militant ranks.He was laid to rest at a graveyard in front of his residential house amid pro-freedom and anti-India slogans, they said.
