Srinagar/April,22: While expressing serious concern over the harassment and intimidation of Kashmir students studying in various professional colleges and universities of UP, Haryana and Rajasthan by the Hindu extremists, the Hurriyat Conference (M) spokesman has said it was not for the first time that Kashmiri students were intimidated and bullied by the Hindu extremists, adding, earlier as well the Kashmiri students and traders were targeted by the communal goons and were forced to leave their trade and education, after they were severely tortured and beaten by them.
In a statement issued here on Saturday Spokesman said if the murderous assault on Kashmiri students is not stopped, their security is not ensured, it would have serious negative fallout. He said it was the duty of government of India and the states to provide security to the Kashmiri students so as to save their future.
Spokesman said it was shocking that Hindu extremists and the ministers seem to be on the same page in promoting venomous views against the Kashmir students. These goons seem to have started a war against Kashmiris especially the students in various cities and states of India.
Meanwhile the Hurriyat Conference (M) spokesman has sternly condemned the house arrest of APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Media Advisor Advocate Shahid-ul-Islam. He said by imposing curbs on the social, political and religious activities of Mirwaiz from past one month symbolizes how government was pursuing the politics of vendetta against him.
He added that despite the curbs, restrictions and wanton repression, the resistance leadership and Kashmiris would continue to go ahead with their struggle for the self determination.
