Srinagar, Apr 23: Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani said that Jan Sangh cadre has virtually declared a war against Muslim community.
Expressing his serious concern over attacks on nomadic herder families in Jammu, Syed Ali Geelani on Sunday said that Delhi administration instead of containing these elements, is backing ‘’cow vigilantes’’. Ram Madhav visit to Jammu & his recent threat statements signify that all these actions were pre-planned, said Geelani in a statement to KNS.
Administration would be held responsible, if these events are not stopped forthwith and attackers arrested or else they shall have to face the consequences added Geelani.
While blaming administration, Geelani said that Indian forces are involved in continuous killings in Kashmir and on the other hand activists of Jan Sangh have been deployed to harass and attack Muslim community in Jammu province.
Since the inception of coalition between PDP & BJP, Muslim community in Jammu are being harassed on one pretext or the other, said Geelani.
They are being evicted from their property lands, Masjids are occupied, their sheds and cottages are demolished and even their livestock looted, he added.
It is quite disheartening that instead of initiating stringent against these swindlers & assailants, the state administration is acting as mute spectator, said Geelani. Blaming Jan Sangh cadre for their feverish activities, Syed Ali Geelani said that these elements are hell-bent to compel Muslim community for major migration likewise that of 1947.
Syed Ali Geelani in his clear-cut message to these elements, said that we won’t leave Muslims community in Jammu on the mercy of these aggressors and will stand by them and come to their rescue even at the cost of our lives. We are keeping a close vigil over the developments and will take necessary step when needed, said Geelani.
Meanwhile, paying rich tributes to slain youth of Chadoora encounter, Chairman Hurriyat Conference (G), Syed Ali Geelani today said “our youth lay their lives to end the age-old slavery of their nation & putting a huge responsibility on our shoulders to honor these sacrifices and take the movement to its logical end.
Blaming Indian authorities for their unrealistic and stubborn approach, Syed Ali Geelani said that they are carrying genocide in state in prearranged way.
Syed Ali Geelani in a telephonic talk to father of slain youth Mohammad Yunis Ganai, extended his condolences while as Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai led funeral prayers of slain youth.
While addressing to mourners, Mahammad Ashraf Sehrai said that our youth are sacrificing their precious lives for a sacred cause and we are indebted to these martyrs. We are obliged to pursue their mission, said Sehrai.
