Guv releases “Ag ne Par”

Jammu/ April, 17: Governor N.N. Vohra released “Ag ne Par”, a translation in Pahari language by Parvez Maanous of Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam’s autobiography “Wings of Fire”, at the Raj Bhavan here.
Zaffar Iqbal Manhas, Member Legislative Council, gave a brief introduction about the author and the book.
Governor complimented Maanous for his laudable initiative to translate and make available the autobiography of such an inspiring personality to the readers of Pahari language. He urged Dr. Aziz Hajini, Secretary J&K Academy of Art, Cultural and Languages to see that such motivational books are widely circulated and made available in the school, college and public libraries and that the story book for children and a comic book in Pahari language brought out by Maanous should also be popularized.
