Shopian/ April, 17:: Unidentified gunmen on Wednesday morning barged into J&K bank in Harmain Shopian and took cash from the branch, reports said.
The masked men according to reports didn’t face any resistance from any of the bank employee. Shortly after, looting the cash they escaped from the spot.
Though police didn’t divulge information about the quantum of looted cash, however Bank sources revealed that over Rs 12 lakhs were looted by the armed gunmen.
Government Forces shortly after the incident cordoned off adjacent areas, however, couldn’t manage to trace the robbers.
