Srinagar/ April, 17: A woman was killed and two motorcyclists were injured in a road accident in south Kashmir district of Anantnag, official sources said.
They said two youth were allegedly performing stunt on their motorcycles at Bijbehara in Anantnag when they hit and wounded a woman, identified as Taja Begum.
Both the motorcyclists were also injured in the accident. All the injured were immediately taken to a hospital, where the woman was declared brought dead.
After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her relatives for last rites.
Police have registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident, they added.
