RO Srinagar Parl Constituency reviews arrangements for counting of votes

Srinagar/April,8:  Returning Officer (RO), Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency, Dr. Farooq Ahmed Lone Wednesday reviewed the arrangements made for counting of votes on April 15, 2017 at SKICC, in a meeting held here Wednesday.
The ADDC, Srinagar, AROs of the Assembly segments of Srinagar parliamentary constituency, Election Nodal Officers, besides officers from JKP.
The meeting discussed various issues including entry passes for the officers, parking of vehicles, security related issues, uninterrupted power supply and other requisite facilities at the venue.
The RO directed all the AROs of the Parliamentary Constituency to keep two computer operators each at their disposal and strictly adhere to the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India with regards to counting process.
The requisite training was also imparted to the AROs and other concerned officials by National Informatics Center.
Later, the RO visited SKICC to take the first hand appraisal of the arrangements put in place for the counting.
