Clashes trigger shutdown in Beerwah market

Srinagar/April,8: Aerial firing by Paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) men on Saturday morning to disperse a stone pelting crowd forced shut down in Beerwah town of central kashmir’s Budgam district.

Eye witnesses said trouble started with a group of youth pelting stones some CRPF men who were patrolling in the Beerwah market. The CRPF men fired in air to disperse the stone pelting youth. Amid clashes between the stone pelting youth and the CRPF sleuths the shopkeeers pulled down their shutter and tension gripped the area.
