Srinagar/April 5:  Stating that PDP is indulging in brazen violation of Model code of Conduct to garner support, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President & INC NC Candidate G.A. Mir Wednesday cautioned the people about the political gimmicks of PDP responsible for the unabated civilian killings and losses caused to property in the valley, citing the reason as mismanagement and mishandling of the situation by ruling dispensation.
Addressing a largely attended gatherings at Malpora, Devsar town hall, Kund, Kurigam and Qazigund in Devsar Assembly Segment Wednesday, G.A.Mir blamed PDP for brazen violation of model code of conduct saying that PDP is using all means to make use of official machinery for poll benefit, which is evident from CM’s meeting held yesterday in Dooru in which Anganwari Workers, Asha Workers and employees of health department were forced to participate in the meeting, which has also been reported by the Local Media.
He said Election Commission of India who is well informed should take a strong note of the violation of MCC on the part ruling dispensation. I urge upon the Election Commission of India to take effective measures to safeguard the sanctity of the Election process by initiating stern action against the Ruling PDP for indulging in violation.
He said Chief Minister should accept that She and her Party is not in a position to face electorate, for the fact, this party has backstabbed people by aligning with communal forces for the sake of power. People have lost trust, will never forgive PDP for the betrayal, he felt confident that this time people will ensure defeat of PDP in the upcoming by elections, G.A. Mir said.
He said PDP is desperate enough about the poll results, it can go to any extent to manipulate elections, but, I am confident, people of South and Central Kashmir will not allow this thing to happen, because they know, it is the PDP which has imported RSS in the valley for the sake of coming into power.
He urged upon the people to remain vigilant and ensure that Elections are not manipulated by PDP BJP, because this is an opportune time for the voters to respond to the betrayal and backstabbing by PDP with iron hands, thereby ensuring victory of Secular forces in the State.
Describing PDP BJP Coalition as anti-people, Mir said that the ruling dispensation has miserable failed to come upto the expectations of the people, all the promises made by this party proved a blatant lie, but the irony is that PDP despite having failed on all counts, is making tall claims about the development of the people merely to manage support for poll benefit.
Mir appealed people to vote for him (G.A. Mir) in upcoming by elections and ensure his victory with a thumping majority, as the victory of INC NC Candidates amounts to victory of secular forces.
Addressing the gatherings Former Minister Taj Mohi-u-din castigated PDP for betraying people after securing votes in 2014. He said the people in entire Kashmir have suffered immensely due to betrayal and backstabbing by PDP. He blamed the PDP for indulging in violation of Model Code of Conduct saying that ECI should take strong note of violation of MCC by PDP, he also urged upon Election Commission of India to monitor the upcoming by elections itself and ensure that the official machinery is not used by the ruling party for electoral gains.
Mentioning that PDP promised much to the people, but could not even fulfill one single promise MLA Devsar Mohd Amin Bhat hit out at PDP for playing with the emotions of the people, rather the people were rewarded with pellets and bullets, but this is astonishing that despite the huge losses caused due to the misrule, PDP is again seeking people’s support on so called Developmental Agenda.
