Geelani demands probe into Awoora fire incident

Srinagar/April 5:  Syed Ali Geelani expressed his shock over the fire incident in Awoora Kupwara and demanded probe into the incident in which residential houses and shops were gutted. Locals want to know the cause of the fire and terming the incident mysterious, Syed Ali Geelani said that many agencies are active in border area and their intention to destroy the economy in area is quite evident to all.
Syed Ali Geelani expressed his sympathy with the families whose houses and business establishment were engulfed in the fire incident & said that people want to know the cause of the fire, are doubtful and raising questions. There are so many queries that need explanation from concern quarters, as why the forces cordoned of the said area without any reason and why firefighting tenders were stopped, said Syed Ali Geelani. What people say is not unsupported and pointless, said Syed Ali Geelani and their resentment is vindicated till they get satisfactory explanation from concern quarters.
There are numerous evidences that various secretive means are being employed to create harassment and scare among people, said Geelani. These ill and evil designs are used to cripple our economy and since long our economy remained a prime target for them and look as if they are more active now, said Syed Ali Geelani.
