Elections mere a Forces drill: Hurriyat

Srinagar/April 5:  Hurriyat Conference (G) on Wednesday said that upcoming elections are mere forces drill and a drama and lakh of forces personnel have been deployed to create scare and harassment among people. It is sheer vandalism while criticizing the state for deployment of forces in educational institutions. Hurriyat said that deploying forces in educational institutions is disregard for educations system and precious time of students is being wasted by authorities.
Hurriyat said that in South and central Kashmir extra contingent of forces have been deployed in these institutions. Despite genuine objection raised by staff and students, armed personnel were stationed in these institutions, said Hurriyat.
Hurriyat spokesman in his statement said that it is shocking that these institutions were occupied by forces to stage election drama & they could have deployed forces somewhere other places, however were deliberately posted in these institutions.
Hurriyat spokesman said that whenever we call shutdown in the interest of movement and to highlight atrocities and human issues, the same authorities raise hue and cry about future and career of students. However, it is quite frightening and their shameful act that they turn their blind eye to the issue & maintained their silence.
Nothing is safe and our honor, life, economy education is not secure and nobody asks them or enquires about their bullying, said spokesman.
