Srinagar/April, 3: Blaming NC and PDP for adding to the arrogance and unrealistic attitude of New Delhi over Kashmir dispute, AIP president and MLA Langate, Er. Rasheed has rejected Modi’s speech and added that his every word was like a threat to those who speak truth.
Er. Rasheed said “The way Mehbooba Mufti was ‘humiliated’ and made to accompany Narinder Modi like PSO and Governor was standing side by side on eve of inauguration of tunnel, it was an insult to democratically elected Chief Minister and evidence of colonial attitude towards people of the state. Governor should have received the PM and then it was none of his business to be part of the inaugural function. It was as if Mehbooba was like Beganay Ki Shadi Main Abdullah Deewana”.
Rasheed added “Since the two so called regional parties NC and PDP have always preferred to act like New Delhi’s mouth pieces and treated Kashmiris like their ancestral ornaments, it has added to the colonial mindset of New Delhi and successive Prime Ministers don’t hesitate in lying, belittling sufferings of Kashmiris, misleading masses, distorting facts and running away from the real issue.”
He said Dr. Farooq Abdullah has made a joke of himself by talking about aspirations and throwing venom against Sang Parivar, forgetting that when his autonomy resolution was thrown to dustbin, he couldn’t dare to get even his son Omer Abdullah out of Government who was a Minister in then Sang Parivar headed NDA Govt. He lacks consistency and can say anything if it suits his personal likes. Similarly Mehbooba Mufti has degraded the chair of Chief Minister and has become like an OGW of BJP. She forgot not only self rule but her changing colours have left very little scope for the genuine voices, as her changing stance has shaken people’s faith in any politician, who may even speak with sincerity. Should Miss Mehbooba answer that why there was not even a single flag of PDP or even a single slogan raised in her favour during PM’s Udhampur rally.”
Er. Rasheed rejected Modi’s threats and sermons to Kashmiris and said “before raising fingers towards Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan during his speech at Udhampur, Prime Minister should not forget that not only that part of LoC has better basic immunities but people of Gurez, Karen, Karnah and Uri on more than one occasions tried to cross the LoC to seek help from other side. That part of Kashmir has its own Prime Minister and President and flag of Azad Kashmir flies at par with Pakistani flag at every Army post at the borders. Unless Modi and other Indian politicians will not come out of their colonial and communal mindset nothing is going to change. The way Narinder Modi and Indian media is projecting things, they are giving a perception as if Kashmiris are living in a stone age and are not interested in walking side by side with the world community”.
Er. Rasheed ridiculed the comparison drawn by PM, between stone palters and those who break stones to construct tunnels and asked Modi that the day New Delhi will accept J&K as a dispute, stone pelting will be replaced by good wishes and mutual respect.
Er. Rasheed added that recovery of grenades from Army Jawan at Srinagar Airport has proved yet again that security agencies are themselves involved in mysterious activities and there is every chance to reach the conclusion that said cop had to hijack the passenger plane to use the incident against Kashmiris mass resistance.
