Srinagar/April, 3: Director General of Police (DGP), Dr. S. P. Vaid has appreciated the efforts and dedication of doctors and administration of Police Hospital Srinagar for providing quality health care services to the police personnel and their families. He said police hospitals at twin capital cities have been equipped with latest diagnostic and surgical equipments to make them high tech in different medical procedures.
Dr. Vaid has congratulated the Medical Superintendent of Police Hospital Srinagar, Dr Bilal Ahmed Raja and his team of doctors for performing the advanced laparoscopic surgeries like TLH (Total Lapro Hysterectomy), MESH Hernioplasty, TEP, TAPP, IPOM etc. Recently Lap. Orchidopexy, which is one of the advanced procedures in Lapro Surgery has been conducted on 32 years old patient Constable Sajid Ahmad of JKP by the team of doctors comprising of Dr. Irshad Ahmed Kuchay, Surgeon Specialist, Dr S M Arif, Consultant Surgeon, Dr Baljeet Kour. Anaesthetist and supporting OT staff, with reasonable success.
Medical Superintendent, Dr. Bilal has expressed his thanks to DGP and other senior police officers for their whole hearted efforts by providing quality of diagnostic equipments, by which the Hospital has been equipped with high end equipment. He appreciated the work and effort by the doctors especially Dr Irshad and other OT staff for conducting successful surgery. He said all this was only possible by the continuous support and cooperation of DGP and other senior officers from PHQ. He said Police Hospital is further envisaging the advancements in services to be provided in near future.
