New Delhi, Apr 3: In an effort to scale economic growth in the sub-region, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today launched the South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation Vision document, outlining the roadmap for economic growth and connectivity in the region.
The event also witnessed finance ministers of Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka joining in the launch of the South Asia Sub-regional Economic Cooperation (SASEC) Vision Document here.
Mr Jaitley welcomed Myanmar as the newest member of the initiative.
Myanmar has joined the SASEC programme as its seventh member.
After its launch, the member countries will deliver Joint Ministerial statement.
