Says ‘Attack carried out to protest Modi’s State visit’
Srinagar/April,1: Militant outfit Hizbul Mujhadeen has claimed the responsibility of attack on army convoy on Srinagar-Baramulla road in Bemina on Saturday.
Operational Spokesperson Hizbul Mujhadeen Burhanuddin told local news gathering agency CNS that the attack carried out by the outfit militants left at least 6 Indian soldiers dead. He said that the attack was carried out to protest the Indian Prime Minister’s visit to Kashmir.
“The young men of Hizbul Mujhadeen will strike at any time, any place across Jammu and Kashmir in coming days,” he said and added that Saturday’s attack on Army convoy was a gift from Hizb to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
