Ganderbal/March,31:The District Election Officer, Ganderbal, Tariq Hussain Ganai, Friday convened a meeting of designated Nodal Officers to review preparations for upcoming bye-elections to Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency in the district.
During the meeting, the DEO was briefed about the progress of assignments under the charge of Nodal Officers.
On the occasion, the DEO instructed the officers to ensure strict compliance to all the ECI directions to make the election process effective for strengthening the democracy.
