Srinagar: Editor In Chief of GNS (Global News Service) a local news gathering agency and English daily “Kashmir Glory” Tanveer-Ul Ahad passed away after brief illness Monday evening.
Ahad was 38 years old resident of Muqam-e-Shahwali of Drugmulla area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.He was admitted at district hospital Handwara after vomiting and diarrhoea but was referred to SMHS hospital Srinagar where doctors putting him on life support system. He finally lost the battle for life on Monday in the late evening hours. The entire Kashmir Horizon team deeply condoles the death of Tanveer Ul Ahad, expresses sympathies to the bereaved family and prays for eternal peace to the departed soul. Survived by his wife and three children Tanveer Ul Ahad was a very pious gentleman loved and respected by all the senior members of Kashmir’s media fraternity . Tanveer Ul Ahad was associated with the Kashmir Horizon for more than four years before launching his own news paper “ Kashmir Glory” and a local news gathering agency “ Global News Service (GNS)”. The heads of almost all media houses have condoled the death with a payer for eternal peace to the departed soul. Tanveer Ul Ahad will be remembered for his hardwork, dedication and commitment for a very long time.
