Srinagar/May,24: A man was arrested after he along with an accomplice tried to snatch the service rifle of a policeman in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.
Sources said that two youth attempted to snatch the rifle of a policeman at Khaar Mode area of the township at around 4 pm. However, the cop resisted the attack and foiled the rifle-snatching bid.“One person was arrested while another managed to escape,” said the sources.
