COVID-19 In JK: 15 new positive cases including 14 from Kmr,1 from Jmu take the tally to 741

Srinagar: The Government Tuesday informed that 15 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), 01 from Jammu division and 14 from Kashmir division, have been reported Tuesday thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 741.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 741 positive cases, 413 are Active Positive, 320 have recovered and 08 have died.
Moreover, 17 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals from Kashmir Division.
The media bulletin, while describing AarogyaSetu as a bridge to prevent spread of COVID-19 in our country, informed the people that AarogyaSetu IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System), a pan India toll free service-1921, has been started for including the citizens with feature phones and landlines under the protection of AAROGYA SETU.
Under this toll free service, the citizens need to give a missed call to the number 1921 which will get disconnected and citizens will receive a call back requesting for inputs regarding their health. The questions asked are aligned to the AarogyaSetu App. Based on the responses given, the citizens will get an SMS indicating their health status and will continue to get alerts for their health moving forward also. The service is being implemented in 11 regional languages same as the app and SMS is sent to the citizen in the same language in which he has shared his information. The input is made part of the AarogyaSetu database and information is processed to send alerts to the citizens on the action to be taken to ensure their safety.
As per the Bulletin, out of 31312 test results available, 30571 samples have tested as negative till May 05, 2020.
Furthermore, till date 80206 travellers and persons in contact with suspected cases have been enlisted for surveillance which included 13688 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 213 in Hospital Quarantine, 413 in hospital isolation and 7274 under home surveillance. Besides, 58610 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said Bandipora has 132 positive cases including 02 reported Tuesday with 69 Active Positive, 62 recovered (including 01 recovered Tuesday), 01 died; Anantnag district has 110 positive cases (including 1 case reported Tuesday) with 108 Active Positive, 01 recovered, 01 died; Srinagar has reported 04 new cases Tuesday taking total to 113 positive cases with 36 Active Positive, 75 recovered, 02 died; Baramulla reported 01 case Tuesday taking total to 104 positive cases with 59 Active Positive, 42 recovered ( including 03 recoveries Tuesday), 03 died; with 06 fresh cases Tuesday, Shopian has 89 positive, 64 Active Positive, 25 recovered ( including 06 recoveries Tuesday), Kupwara has 66 positive cases with 36 Active Positive, 30 recovered ( including 07 recoveries Tuesday), Budgam has 30 positive cases with 18 Active Positive and 12 recovered cases; Ganderbal has 14 positive cases and all of them have recovered; Kulgam has 11 positive cases with 08 Active Positive and 03 recoveries; Pulwama has 09 positive cases with 06 active positive, 03 recovered.
Similarly, Jammu has 27 positive cases with 1 active positive case reported Tuesday and 26 have recovered; Udhampur reported 1 case Tuesday making a total of 21 positive cases with 01 active positive case, 19 recovered and 01 died, while as Samba has 07 positive cases wherein 03 are Active Positive and 04 have recovered; Rajouri has 04 positive cases, 01 active positive and 03 have recovered; Kathua has 01 positive case who is active positive; Kishtwar had only 01 positive case who has recovered while Ramban and Reasi districts have 01 positive case each which are active positive
The Bulletin said the breakup represents districts from which the patients have been traced or are ordinarily residing.
Advisory urged people not to step out of home, unless absolutely necessary. “If you have to move out for unavoidable reasons, ensure that you wear a mask and practice social distancing, personal hygiene and frequent handwashing.”
Public has also been advised to strictly follow the advisories issued by the Government from time to time.
Furthermore, the people have been urged upon to rely only on the information released by the government through the daily media bulletin to print & electronic media. People are advised to refrain from spreading rumours and pay no heed to them at the same time.
