DM Pulwama reviews functioning of quarantine centers

Pulwama : District Magistrate Pulwama, Dr Raghav Langer, chaired a meeting to review the functioning of quarantine centers in the district, here Wednesday.
ADC’s Pulwama, Tral and Awantipora, SP Ashish Mishra, CMO, Medical Superintendent, Nodal officers, Incharges of Quarantine Centres, Tehsildars and BMO’s attended the meeting.
During the meeting several issues related to provision of providing basic facilities including health, water supply, electricity, lodging and sanitation to the inmates lodged at Quarantine centres were discussed at length during the meeting.
On the occasion, DM directed the concerned officers to provide all requisite facilities to the inmates lodged at Quarantine centres, in the district.
He directed for construction of additional toilet points, ensuring cleanliness in and around these centres. He asked the nodal officers to work in tandem with line departments for arranging basic facilities including drinking water and electricity for the people lodging in Quarantine centers.
DM directed health officials to conduct routine checkup of the quarantined people and update regular reporting on valid format with proper information.
