Red zone areas of Reshipora, Naikpora in Kulgam barricaded

Kulgam: On the directions of District Magistrate (DM) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, authorities have properly barricaded Reshipora and Naikpora areas of main town Kulgam, which have already been declared Red zones.
The DM said it has become imperative to take stringent precautionary measures to break the chain of Corona virus infection. He added that to ensure that no inward or outward movement takes place in the Reshipora and Naikpora red zone areas strict restrictions have been put in place.
He that sufficient stock of essentials is available and people of red zones areas can contact 24×7 helpline number 7006568063, 7006435774 and 7889432147 for delivery of essentials at their door steps.
Notably district administration has distributed masks among the people and process continues across the district.
Besides sanitation cum fumigation drives are also going on in all parts of the district, to decontaminate public places, quarantine centers and health institutions.
Meanwhile four Corona virus positive cases have been detected in the district so far and whole district is under restrictions and lockdown.
The DM has already declared Sopat, Tengpora, Mohalla Batpora and Mohalla Bagbal of Revenue village KB-Pora, Reshipora ward 04 and Naikpora A & B of ward NO-2 of MC as Red zones to break the chain of Corona virus infection.
He appealed people to stay home and follow the advisories of health department and administration in letter and spirit.
