Pulwama: The Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama, Dr Raghav Langer Monday inspected isolation ward at District Hospital Pulwama and took stock of arrangements put in place to avert spread of COVID-19 in the district.
On the occasion, the Medical Superintendent informed the DDC all the arrangements have been put in place in the ward as per issued protocol and said adequate measures including deployment of medical teams have been kept ready to deal any situation.
The DC said ward has been set up for people who are unwell and are suspected or confirmed to be infected with Corona virus and all preventive measures are being taken to tackle spread of COVID-19. He directed concerned to maintain sanitation the ward as well as in and around the hospital premises.
He reiterated that there is no need to panic as all requisite steps have been taken to tackle any eventuality and appealed people to adhere Health Departments guidelines to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.
