Srinagar/March,19:A large number of girls who arrived Srinagar from Bangladesh Thursday morning were detained at Srinagar Airport and were confined to isolation for 15 days by the authorities.
Officials pleading anonymity told Kashmir Horizon that a large group of Kashmiri girls, around 100 in number, pursuing medicine, management and several other courses in Bangladesh, arrived Srinagar on Thursday by a flight from Delhi . They say that they were properly tested at Delhi and Srinagar airports and none of them has any symptoms of COVID-19. However the authorities at Srinagar airport have confined them all for compulsory isolation. They say only the girls with symptoms or adverse tests, if any, should be held in compulsory isolation while others with no adverse indications should be permitted to remain in home quarantine/isolation under surveillance of medical staff.
