Doda/March,16:The 5 years old child, identified as Sumit Kumar s% Tota Ram was attacked by the leopard last evening near his house, which is close to a forest area in Dashanan belt of District Doda police officials said.
As the leopard attacked the child, he managed to raise an alarm which made his family members and neighbours come out of their houses for his rescue.
As local heard the voice they rushed to the spot after hearing his cries, following which he was taken to the hospital, police adding, the animal escaped when people came to the minor’s rescue.The child was shifted to District Hospital Doda, where here condition is said to be stable.
