Jammu: In view of rising threat of the deadly coronavirus, the administration on Sunday imposed Section 144 in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
An order issued by the District Magistrate Rajouri Mohammad Nazir Sheikh read that in exercise of powers vested upon him, he has imposed Section 144 of CrPC.
Gathering and assembly of more than five persons is not allowed in the district for a period of one month. Anybody not following the order, will be dealt sternly, the order read.
