Samba: A team of Legal Metrology Department Samba Tuesday conducted inspection of stationary shops at Vijaypur.
During the inspection, the Inspector LMD Samba booked two stationary shop for violation of Packaged commodities Rule. The team seized 80 school belts, 62 school diaries, 9 school bags, 3 track suits, 110 uniform shirts, 48 pencil box, 10 color box.
The stationary shops were selling these items without mandatory declarations such as MRP, Packing date, manufacturing/packer address etc. The defaulter traders were directed to attend the office for further legal action.
