Ramban: A shooting hit two siblings who were travelling in a car on Srinagar-Jammu highway leaving one dead and another one seriously injured.
Official sources told KNO, that in the afternoon, a shooting stone hit a Creta car bearing number (JK01AA-9863), which was on its way to Jammu from Srinagar, near Marog Ramban area, resulting in the on the spot death of one of the two brothers and grave injuries to another.
As per KNO, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured person to nearby Hospital, where he was responding to the treatment, when last reports poured in.
Official identified the deceased as Waseem Azad son of Meraj Din of Munawarabad, Khayam Chowk Srinagar. Waseem’s brother, who received serious injuries was identified as Manzoor Azad son of Ali Mohd of Munawarabad, Khayam Chowk Srinagar. Ramban police has taken cognizance in this regard.
