Srinagar/March, 7: A couple and their three-year-old daughter were charred to death in a devastating fire that broke out in Sheshgari Mohalla in Khanyar area in old Srinagar city.
Officials confirming the incident said fire broke out from the residential house of one Javaid Ahmad in Khanyar during the night intervening Friday and Saturday. “Javaid Ahmad the house owner, his wife Sofiya and their three-year-old daughter, Hafsa was charred to death in the fire”, they said, adding that “their bodies have been recovered”. Police has started investigation into the matter and a case has also been registered, an official said
