CORONAVIRUS: Health Deptt Doda holds awareness event for school heads

Doda: To generate mass awareness regarding Coronavirus infection, the District Health Society Doda, led by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Shah, conduct a workshop for the Heads of Institutions of all Govt as well as Private Schools of the District.
The sensitization workshop was attended by CEO Tariq Hussain, DHO, Dr. M A Tariq, District Epidemiologist Umar Anayat, BMEO NHM Ghat Mashhood Latief and District Media Coordinator from Health Department; Faizan Ali Tramboo.
Over one thousand HOIs, Incharges and Teachers from different schools besides officials from Health Department attended the awareness workshop having series of sessions .
At the outset, the CMO welcomed all the participants and briefed /educated them about all the aspects of Coronavirus, which is commonly known as COVID-19 name.
The CMO informed the participants that the awareness programme was organized with the mission to sensitize the education department, staff and students regarding the disease so as to protect the people free from any epidemic.
District Epidemologist, briefed the participants about the causes, symptoms and preventive measure of COVID-19, besides demonstrations through projector about Coronavirus, different hand washing techniques and hygiene was given to them.
