Srinagar: Degree College BeminaWednesday organized an Inter College Women’s Cricket Rolling Trophy at SP College Ground Srinagar.
The tournament was inaugurated by Prof. M.Y. Peerzada, Dean Academic Affairs, Cluster University Srinagar in presence of Principal Degree College Bemina, Principal SP College, senior faculty members and members of the College Sports Committee.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. M.Y. Peerzada encouraged the participants and highlighted the importance of sports and other physical activities for the overall development.
The inaugural match Govt. College WomensNawakadaldefeated Govt. Degree College, Pattan. Chasing a moderate target of 98 Runs, GWC NawaKadal achieved the feat in 13.4 overs by losing only 4 wickets with the help of Sabreena’s unbeaten 26.
