All India Service Officers to seek NOC for travelling allowance on planned visits to Delhi, other places

Jammu: The Government has orders that All India Service Officers will have to seek no objection certificate from the Resident Commissioner, J&K Government, New Delhi or Joint/Deputy Resident Commissioner concerned for the purposes of travelling allowance for planned visits to Delhi and other places if they are denied accommodation at the places where accommodation facilities are provided by the J&K Government.
An order issued from the General Administration Department (GAD) reads as under : Inn case of visit to Delhi or some other places on official tour where Government of Jammu and Kashmir provides accommodation for Government Officers, No Objection Certificate, shall be obtained from the Resident Commissioner, J&K Government, New Delhi/Joint or Deputy Resident Commissioner concerned to the effect that “No accommodation is available during the visit of the officer in case the officer stays elsewhere. 2. The visit shall be planned well in advance to achieve cost efficiency.
