DDC reviews progress of RSETI Bandipora

Bandipora/May, 19: District Development Commissioner Bandipora chaired a meeting Friday to review the progress of Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Bandipora.

The meeting was informed by the Director of the Institute that since its inception, 3285 candidates have been trained in various trades and skills, out of whom 1540 candidates availed credit facility under different schemes from banks.

He said RSETI has conducted 13 training programs last fiscal during which 358 candidates were imparted training in various skills.

The Director informed that out of 358 candidates, 224 candidates were provided with credit linkage facility to open their income generating units. As many as 54 awareness camps were organized by the RSETI, so far, at several places in the district especially in remotest villages like Weevan, Bagtoor, Achoora, Tulail, Sheikhpore, Shahgund, Odina etc, he added.
