Srinagar: Dr. Syed Sehrish Asgar assumed the charge of Director, Information & Public Relations here Thursday.
Immediately after assuming the charge, she convened a meeting of officers in which she highlighted the need for further strengthening the activities and core competence of the Department. She underscored the need for involving modern and new media platforms to spread awareness about Government activities and its welfare programs.
The Director Information also inspected several units of the Directorate and interacted with the officers and employees.
A deputation of employees of the Department also called on the Director Information and pledged their support in running the affairs of the Department.
