New Delhi/July,28 : Senior BJP leaders of Jammu and Kashmir have been summoned to Delhi on Tuesday for a meeting, which is expected to be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party chief and Home Minister Amit Shah, reported Times Of India on Sunday.
The BJP core group of the state has been summoned by the party high command for the meeting to review political atmosphere and chalk out strategies for the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, the schedule of which is yet to be decided, reads the report, adding that the top BJP leaders and party’s high command are also likely to discuss preparedness for Assembly elections, likely to be held later this year.
The meeting is expected to be attended by Jammu and Kashmir BJP chief Ravinder Raina, Union minister Jitendra Singh, BJP general secretary Ram Madhav and other senior leaders from the state besides the party’s national working president JP Nadda, said another report quoting sources.
