Srinagar: Directorate of Agriculture Kashmir on Wednesday started a four-day off-campus training program on sampling and prosecution procedures under the Insecticide Act here at Agriculture Complex Lalmandi.
The training is organized in collaboration with the National Institute of Plant Health Management (NIPHM) Hyderabad. 50 Technocrats of the department of Agriculture and 20 Technocrats from Horticulture Department Kashmir participated in Wednesday’s session.
Giving the details of the program, Deputy Director Law Enforcement said this is the first time in history that the department is conducting such type of off-campus program in collaboration with NIPHM.
He said the schedule of the program has been set in such a way that the participating technocrats will be imparted training with regard to various aspects of Insecticide Act 1968 and rules there under.
