Srinagar : A Special Lok Adalat under the chairmanship of Abdul Rashid Malik -Chairman District Legal services Authority (Pr. Distt. & Sessions Judge) Srinagar was organized by this authority on 22nd of July 2019.
Two benches were constituted during the Lok Adalat. Bench No 01 was presided over by Yahya Firdous (Special Mobile Magistrate (Traffic) Srinagar and Adnan Sayeed (Secretary DLSA Srinagar). Bench No 02 was presided over by Mir Wajahat (Addl. Mobile Magistrate Srinagar and Shuja Khan (Retainer Lawyer).
About 7000 traffic challans were taken up out of which 6656 challans were settled and an amount of Rs. 4,77,850 were realized as fine.
