Srinagar : Firdous Dramatic Club in collaboration with Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) and Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Tuesday presented a colourful cultural programme here at DIPR auditorium.
During the cultural programme, artists presented beautiful songs in the local languages including Urdu and Kashmiri. A programme based on the theme of drug de-addiction was also performed by the artists.
Director Information and Public Relations Gulzar Ahmad Dar was the chief guest on the occasion.
Former Director Information Farooq Ahmad Renzu and prominent writer G R Hasrat Gadda were guest of honor.
A large number of art lovers were present on the occasion.
The programme was highly applauded by the audience who demanded that more such programmes should be organised in future as well.Mementos were distributed among the artists, singers and writers.
