578 candidates interviewed under PMEGP at Pulwama

Pulwama: A massive interaction cum interview programme under Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) was held Wednesday at DC office Complex Pulwama.
The interview was chaired by District Development Commissioner Pulwama, Dr. Syed Abid Rashid Shah, who is also the chairman of the District Level task force committee.
While interacting with unemployed educated youth, DDC elicited innovative and sustainable employment ideas from them. He urged upon the aspirants to strive for self-reliance and self-confidence. DDC said the PMEGP is a flagship programme of central Government with an aim to generate sustainable employment for aspiring entrepreneurs. He hailed the achievements of numerous young entrepreneurs who have become success stories under PMEGP scheme.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Chowdary Mohammad Yaseen, who is holding the charge of General Manager District Industries Centre is the member secretary of DLTFC and had made all the arrangements for the smooth conduct of the interaction programme.
