Bandipora: The Department of Animal Husbandry on Wednesday organized a fertility camp under Rashtriya Gokul Mission here at Quil
About 180 livestock rearers participated along with 50 crossbreed Milch cows. The cows were examined by the Veterinarian for reproductive disorders which include ovarian cysts, pyometra, anestus and cervicitis.
A group of five cows were subjected to Estrus/ Heat synchronization with the use of hormones. Free of cost medicines, nutrient supplements and de-worming medicine was provided to the owners.
The cattle were screened on-spot for Brucellosis.
Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Bandipora, Technical Officer, Block Veterinary officer, Veterinary Assistant surgeon Qazipora, Arin and several Paravets attended the camp.
