Srinagar /June, 27 : Eleven students including nine girls were on Wednesday afternoon killed and seven others injured after as a mini-bus they were travelling in skidded off the road and rolled into a deep gorge near Peer Ki Gali on Mughal road in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Reports said the vehicle in which they were travelling fell into gorge, resulting in the death of 11 students including 9 girls and injuries to seven others. The students were from a private computer centre in Surankote. Locals and police launched a rescue operation and evacuated all those onboard the vehicle to District Hospital Shopian.
