Srinagar: Two more youths shunned the militancy and returned mainstream in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.
He said two youths of Pulwama district had joined militancy recently. However, with the help of community members of the area, family and district police, both the youth shunned the path of violence.
They have returned to mainstream to lead a peaceful and normal life, he said. However, he said for security reasons their names cannot be divulged.
Dozens of youths have returned to mainstream after shunning the path of militancy in the Kashmir valley, particularly in south. A number of youths were also prevented from joining militancy and handed over to their family members after their proper counseling.
