New Delhi/June, 10 : Out of six accused convicted in Kathua minor rape case by a special court in Pathankot, three have been given life and the other three five years imprisonment, said a media report.
Sanjhi Ram, Deepak Khajuria and Parvesh who were convicted for rape and murder were given life sentence while other three who were convicted for destruction of evidence were given five years imprisonment.
The prosecution had prayed for capital punishment to the convicts,” said Advocate Mubeen Farooqui.
