Deputations, former legislator call on Advisor Sharma in Srinagar

Srinagar: The Advisor to Governor, KK Sharma Tuesday met several deputations here and apprised him of various issues faced by them.
Former legislator Ramnagar, R S Pathania also called on the Advisor and projected several issues related to the Ramnagar constituency. The issues included maintenance of PMGSY roads, providing hand pumps at vulnerable areas and several other issues related to the PDD, PHE and R&B.
A delegation of Planning Officers projected the need for formulation of a roadmap viz-a-viz their working and cardre control in view of the recent decision of the government related to the merger of their services with the Finance department.
A delegation of BUMS internees also called on the Advisor and raised the issue of providing a stipend to them on the analogy of allopathic professionals.
Agro Industries Corporation employees raised the issue of providing 6th Pay Commission arrears to them.
The Advisor gave patient hearing to the deputationists and assured that all the issues and grievances projected to him would be examined on priority and resolved on merit.
