Jammu: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma Saturday reviewed the travel arrangements for move employees to summer capital Srinagar, here at a meeting.
The Div Com informed that the vehicles carrying the employees would be provided special passes in view of restrictions on Sundays on Jammu –Srinagar Highway for movement of Army and other Convoys.
It was decided that the concerned DCs will provide special travel passes after clearing the vehicles carrying the move employees for on ward journey to Srinagar.
“Deputy Commissioner Jammu will issue passes to the vehicles at Nagrota, while DC Udhampur will facilitate the onward movement after verifying these at Jakhani” the Div Com said adding that similar procedure will be repeated by Deputy Commissioner Ramban in his jurisdiction.
