Srinagar: For last fortnight series of championships state & district championship were held at prestigious Hat Trick School Zakura organised by Jammu & Kashmir Tong Il MooDo Association various national level and state level personalities graced the series of functions. The district Tong IL MooDo Championship concluded on Tuesday. On first day Ali Mohammad Sagar graced the occasion and on second day the championship was concluded at most magnificent function presided by chief guest Ghulam Hassan Mir, Guest of honour Khwaja Farooq Renzu and the main host and organiser of the programme Showkat Chowdhary Chairman of Hat Trick school. The event was organiseb by Mr Arshad Aziz General Secretary Jammu & Kashmir Tong Il MooDo Association. Other members of the association Nazir Makhdoomi Chief Patron, Arshid Mir Chief Publicity secretary, Shabir Bhat, Nasir Mir, Auzab Yaqoob, Muntaha, Sakeena and others were also present.
The contribution of the federation in projecting the youth of Kashmir at national and international level was acclaimed by all. Ghulam Hassan Mir while speaking on the occasion appreciated the organisers of the programme and Hat Trick School for enriching the budding generation with high quality sports activities he said that everyone has to play his role to project our high talents at right international and national forums in the sports field so that we are second to none. While speaking on the occasion Khwaja Farooq Renzu who is also National Vice president of this association said that Kashmir has bestowed by nature not only with clesitieal beauty but also extra ordinary human talent and its important that this talent should be identified and projected appropriately at right forums Mr Shwokat Chowdary while speaking on the occasion appreciated the contribution of Ghulam Hassan Mir as well as Mr Renzu in encouraging youth of the state in most positive manner he said that youth has been taking lots of interests in martial art. And Tong il MooDO events have attracted attention of all during this fortnight. He said that all other sports activities are required to be encouraged by both state governments and private educations.
On this occasion awards and trophies including gold, silver & bronze were distributed along the students as well as the officials who have proved their talent during the championship.
