Anantnag/ April ,27 : PDP President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti in her sharp reaction to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s assertion that BJP if voted back to power will scrap article 370 said “if (PM) Modi thinks that Kashmir is in loss because of Article 370 then he should free Kashmir”
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of an election rally in Kulgam district Mehbooba also blamed Congress and the National Conference for eroding article 370. Putting a question mark on Congress party’s election time promises on protection of article 370 Mehbooba said “When Azad Sahab became chief minister of the state he sold Kashmiri land to the Shrine Board. did he not think of Article 370 at that time?” The PDP President even blamed National Conference founder late Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah for surrendering the position of Prime Minister saying that “Sheikh Sahab accepted the chief minister’s seat after signing the infamous accord of 1975 with the then prime minister Indira Gandhi. Did National Conference not think of the special status of the state”.
